Update to Anti-Dumping Duty and Countervailing Duty on Electric Bicycles (e-bikes) from China:
The Trade Remedies Authority (TRA) have recommended to extend the anti-dumping duty and countervailing duty on folding e-bikes from China.
The Department for Business and Trade have created measures using newly created additional code 8100: The following goods imported from China are exempt from the anti-dumping and countervailing duties: electrical bicycles that are not foldable. These measures are available for use on non-foldable e-bikes as of 7 February 2025.
These changes affect the following commodity codes:
- 8711601000
- 8711609010

Update to Mercury Export Controls:
This update is due to the Department for Business and Trade correcting their tariff dataset entry in respect of measure type 749 - Export control of mercury on the following commodity codes as of 7 February 2025:

Update to Tariff Preference Measures for South Africa:
This update is due to the Department for Business and Trade correcting their missing tariff dataset entry in respect of seasonal Tariff Preference measures (measure type 142).
