Update to Commodity Code Structure to maintain dynamic alignment with the EU:

The following updates were incorrectly provided in the 20 January 2025 Further Update Stop Press Notice and are to be ignored: The following commodity codes have ended as of 7 January 2025:

Commodity Code Classification
3919908031 Reflecting film, consisting of a layer of polyurethane, with, on one side, security imprints against counterfeiting, alteration or substitution of data or duplication, or an official mark for an intended use, and embedded glass beads and, on the other side, an adhesive layer, covered on one side or on both sides with a release film

Update to Simplified Procedure Value:

The Simplified Procedure Value (SPV) has been updated. The update applies to the period between 31 January 2025 and 13 February 2025. Please use the following link to find out more. Simplified Procedure Value Information.

Update to Export Measures Using Waiver Document Code Y999:

From 1 February 2025, waiver document code Y999 will not be available for use on measure type 478 – Export authorization (Dual use) on the following commodity codes:

Update to Tariff Preference Measures for South Africa:

This update is due to the Department for Business and Trade correcting their missing tariff dataset entry in respect of seasonal Tariff Preference measures (measure type 142). Measures applicable to South Africa have been updated from June 2025. For further information, please see the South Africa Preferential Tariff Reference Document.
